A full record of everything in St. Faith’s is being compiled by twenty two members of the local Portsdown branch of the National Association of Decorative and Fine Arts Societies (NADFAS). When this is completed the Church will be given a copy as will the National Archive, the Victoria and Albert Museum and the Portsmouth Diocesan Archive. At present members are concentrating on the textiles, the manuscripts (library), memorials, windows, woodwork and stonework in the church. Other headings will be dealt with later. There is a large amount of work to be investigated and listed in the building and it is anticipated that the Record could take up to five years to complete from 2015.
