The Church Charity Shop opened in the Coach House in The Pallant in September 1975 when the Rector, Canon Derek Brown, asked Edna Gomersall if she would run a shop there. It has been thriving ever since. Edna retired in November 2005 after running the shop for over 30 years when Sheila Warlow took over before retiring after over 6 years in February 2012. Stephanie Floyd then managed the shop until February 2018 when it became the responsibility of the Community Fund Raising Manager, Clare Kennar. In January 2019, Clare became the Charity Shop Manager with Jackie North the Assistant Charity Shop Manager.
The shop is part of Church House.
A consortium of helpers runs the shop which contributes greatly to the Church funds. More helpers are always required. If you can help for a few hours a week, then please contact Clare in the Church Shop on 023 9247 8098, mobile: 07837 700891, email: email@example.com .
Why not pop in and pick up a bargain or two. You can always be assured of a warm welcome.
The shop is adjacent to the Church Hall so the directions are the same
